3 Questions for Director of Libraries Bob Hull: September

Bob Hull on the Smith Library's Fall Festival, getting help with Obamacare and more.

North Branford Patch: What's new at the North Branford libraries?
Bob Hull, director of libraries: The Fall Festival at the Smith Library is going to be a great event for the whole family! Look for details soon at the library, and be ready to sign up.

North Branford Patch: What's something residents should know?
Bob Hull, director of libraries: Starting in October, various provisions of the Affordable Health Care Act (Obamacare) are going into effect. Keep in mind two things about your public libraries: 1. We have many public computers where you can research insurance plans and other information; 2. We, on the library staff, are learning about the law and its requirements, so we can help people find the information they need. We cannot offer legal, medical or financial advice, but we can help you navigate the system (or lead you to those who can help).

North Branford Patch: What's your favorite thing about fall?
Bob Hull, director of libraries: My favorite thing is the bittersweet mood of the season. It's melancholy, but beautiful at the same time.
