3 Questions for Town Manager Mike Paulhus: August

North Branford Town Manager Mike Paulhus on a sign of good economic times, Route 80 development and back-to-school advice.

North Branford Patch: What's new at North Branford Town Hall?
Town Manager Mike Paulhus: In the last few weeks there has been an increase in requests from developers looking at different parcels and potential projects, both residential and commercial. I believe this is a positive economic indicator.

North Branford Patch: What's something residents should know?
Town Manager Mike Paulhus: The town is working with Yale’s Center for Urban Design Research to conduct a workshop and marketing feasibility for the future development of the former Wall Field and Old Town Hall Site along Route 80. The Economic Development Commission is facilitating the discussion with Yale and will be looking for public input. The Commission feels there is a great opportunity to partner with residents and stakeholders to guide the development so that the final product fits with the overall character of the town.

North Branford Patch: What's your best back-to-school advice?
Town Manager Mike Paulhus: My advice is to slow down and relax. Enjoy your time with classmates and friends and don’t be afraid to ask questions and participate in class discussions.
