Announcing Connecticut’s new state tourism campaign – Still Revolutionary

This week, Governor Dannel P. Malloy proudly unveiled Connecticut’s new state tourism campaign – Still Revolutionary – the state’s first full-fledged marketing initiative in more than two years.  Connecticut’s new brand identity is designed to foster state pride among residents and bolster the state’s reputation as a business and tourism destination.

The new brand comes as a result of months of research and a campaign titled “What’s Your Connecticut Story?” where the state asked residents and visitors what they loved most about CT, in an effort to shape the direction of Connecticut’s brand through the voices and actual experiences of residents and visitors.

We encourage you to watch the new ad here and share with your readers and friends (feel free to re-tweet). We also have a CT Pride tab up on Facebook where you can grab a scenic Connecticut photo and use it as your cover photo in your new Facebook Timeline profile.

Lastly, to celebrate the launch of the new campaign, the Governor is encouraging all residents to take time this summer to explore Connecticut (it’s amazing how much there is to enjoy in our own backyard!) and specifically come out for Open House Day on Saturday June 9th. This annual state-wide event features more than 150 CT destinations who will be offering Connecticut residents discounted or free admission, free gifts or special exhibits and activities. Check out the Facebook invite here and get Open House Day on your calendar.
