Cleaning Out Your Closet or Attic? Don’t Throw it Out!
The North Branford Thunderbird Cheerleading Squad is Collecting Used Clothing, Shoes, Belts, Handbags, Linens, Stuffed Animals and small hard toys for our clothing drive!
Items will be accepted at the North Branford High School on Saturday, October 20th from 10am to 2pm in the parking lot by the school’s main entrance
Items can also be brought to 37 Woodland Drive - collection date deadline is Friday, October 19th until 8pm
Fundraising is critical to defray cheerleading costs that are not paid by the school. The North Branford Cheerleading squad receives a donation for the total poundage collected.
The clothing drive is sponsored by Fashion Republic - a small company specializing in processing used clothing and shipping it to people in need. Clothing and toys are shipped to Poland, Republic of Georgia, Ghana, Liberia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Haiti, India, Mali, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Kenya. The clothing is sold at local markets and thrift stores at low, affordable prices.
