New Haven Home Recovery is now holding our Annual Backpack and School Supplies Drive. A 501 (c) 3 New Haven Home Recovery provides services to women and children who are homeless or at risk of being homeless.
Last year over 400 backpacks filled with school supplies were collected thanks to the generosity of the community.
We are in need of backpacks for pre-K - through 12th grade. School supplies needed are spiral notebooks, composition notebooks, 3 ring binders with looseleaf paper, folders, glue sticks, pens, pencils, rulers, erasers, colored pencils, washable markers and crayons.
We ask that all items be brought to New Haven Home Recovery's administrative offices at 153 East Street, 2nd Floor, New Haven between 8:30am-4:30pm by Friday, August 17, 2012. For more information contact Mary Grande at mgrande@nhhr.org or 203.492.4866 x36.
