Consider joining the Northford Women’s Club for a meal of soup and bread on Tuesday, February 26th, 2013, at 6:30 PM followed at 7:15 by an informative presentation about the Bio-Sand Water Filter Project presented by Cathy Forsberg, CPA and Michael Lipman, CPA. This project is based in South India. Its purpose is to manufacture for household use Bio-Sand Water Filters. The filters are targeted to assist residents in rural villages and the city slums of India by supplying clean water for drinking, cooking, and bathing. While hearing about this wonderful project, you can enjoy some of the delicious homemade soups offered by club members accompanied by homemade breads. This is the perfect way to spend a cold February evening. Any woman over the age of eighteen is welcome to attend. The meeting will take place at Stanley T. Williams School (North Branford Public Schools - District Offices) at 1332 Middletown Avenue, Northford.
