Annual "Put Vista on the Map" Campaign Kicks Off

The annual “Put Vista on the Map” campaign kicked off this past weekend at Vista’s Family Day. This photo campaign, to be carried out on Vista’s Facebook page, will feature photographs taken by friends of Vista during their travels this summer. Each photo posted will feature a friend - or friends - of Vista wearing green Vista wristbands serving to raise awareness about Vista (or in other words “put Vista on the map”) in beautiful and creative locations worldwide.

Summer vacations are always fun but can be made even better by helping to advance the cause of an organization that you believe in! Select highlights from last year’s “Put Vista on the Map” campaign included photos that were taken of friends of Vista on the summit of Mount Everest between Nepal and Tibet, in front of the Eiffel Tower in France, in historic Germany, in beautiful Hawaii, with NASA’s Mars Rover at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Los Angeles and in many more gorgeous places like Scotland, the Pacific Northwest, the Carolinas, the American West, and Alaska. Last year, nearly 150 photos were posted during the campaign with 36 states and 13 countries represented. Can Vista be represented in all 50 states and 20 countries by Labor Day? If you are a friend of Vista, have a green Vista wristband, a camera or camera phone and are traveling you can be part of making it happen! Be sure to check out Vista’s Facebook page (click here) to see where we put Vista on the map this summer!
