3 Questions for Director of Libraries Bob Hull: Oct. 19

Bob Hull reminds residents that the Atwater and Smith libraries offer residents more than just books, including information on ballot questions for the town's charter, energy assistance and more.

North Branford Patch: What's new at the libaries?
Bob Hull: On election day this year, North Branford residents will vote on several ballot questions relating to the Town Charter. You can pick up a helpful pamphlet on the questions at several town buildings, including the libraries, or you can get the info on the town's web site. The libraries also have copies of the "Energy Assistance Information Pack," a program much in demand as winter approaches.

North Branford Patch: What's something residents need to know?
Hull: The library, of course, offers thousands of books made of paper. But if you want to read books made of electrons on your , we can get you those, too – for free. Look at the upper right corner of our web site to find information.

North Branford Patch: What is your favorite thing about North Branford?
Hull: My favorite thing about North Branford is the farms. I grew up in a rural area, worked on farms when I was younger and have been an avid gardener for many years. I love the open space and agriculture all around us in this town.
