North Branford Patch: What's new in your department?
Hull: Northford native Betsey Williams will appear at the Smith Library Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 6:30 p.m. for a book signing and talk about her new book, "Oh Mommie, Where Are You?" Check with the library for information and to sign up for a fascinating program.

North Branford Patch: What's something residents need to know?
Hull: When you're placing holds on library items from home, don't be discouraged by all the holds on the book you want. That's the total number of holds in the entire multi-town system. Our patrons come first for our books – so go ahead and reserve "Gone Girl" today!
