Take Your Child to the Library Day was a big success with lots of special guests, plenty of activities and a steady stream of library patrons of all ages coming through North Branford's libraries on Feb. 2.

At the Smith Library, visitors got to meet a real groundhog, presented by Meig's Point Nature Center, as well as Boomer the Bobcat – Quinnipiac University's mascot – and several members of QU's field hockey team.

Students from Totoket Valley Elementary School also conducted interviews on "Why I love my library." Check out the great answers in the attached videos.
