Though March 21 may be the official beginning of spring, it doesn't quite feel like it's here until opens for the season--and Saturday's the day. has predicted with temperatures nearing 60 degrees, making it near-perfect weather for getting back to the farm.
The farm market is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the ice cream stand staying open until 9 p.m. The market offers pies, cookies, fruits and veggies--including native greenhouse cukes and lettuce.
Outside, the animals are ready for visitors. Winnie, the mini horse, is there along with the llamas, goats and sheep. You may even spy a bunny rabbit or two by the water wheel.
