VIDEO: "In Loving Memory of Dr. Mel Goldstein, Every Sunrise Brings You Home"
A bench was unveiled in memory of Dr. Mel Goldstein at the East Haven Town Beach.
Family, friends and neighbors of Dr. Mel Goldstein gathered at Monday morning to join town offiicals in the unveiling of the longtime resident and WTNH meteorologist.
Goldstein, who had been battling cancer for a number of years, passed away in January.
After retiring from Storm Team 8 last summer, the meteorologist gave his in November.

The memorial bench at the town beach was a gift to the town from Goldstein's wife, Arlene, who along with their daughter, Laura, was also at this morning's ceremony.
