Nominate the Royal Court for the 2012 North Branford Potato and Corn Festival

It’s time to share your nominations for this year’s Royal Patch Court, including King and Queen Corn and Prince and Princess Potato!

The is quickly approaching on and until Friday, Aug. 3, we’ll be taking nominations for the Royal Patch Court. Submit your nominations for King and Queen Corn, along with Prince and Princess Potato.

, including Queen Jackie Folz, a hard-working volunteer at the fest, and King Kyle Mezerewski, who had spent countless hours as a camp counselor and coach. Karen Ablondi and her husband Willy Taylor were named Princess and Prince after parking cars under the blazing sun for the weekend of the 2011 festival.

Who do you think deserves this year’s title? We’re looking for nominations of outstanding citizens of North Branford and Northford of all ages. As a sponsor of the Royal Patch Court, North Branford Patch will be on hand with the to announce the winners and award prizes.

The Royal Patch Court will be announced on Sunday, Aug. 5 at 3:15 p.m. on the main stage before Shaded Soul's performance.
