The North Branford High School Drama Club will present Guys and Dolls today in the North Branford Auditorium. is a musical fable with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser that describes the unlikely romance between Sarah Brown, a pure-at- heart urban missionary played by senior and Sky Masterson, a slick Broadway gambler played by senior . The show’s second romantic story line chronicles the fourteen year engagement of Nathan Detroit, who organizes “the oldest established permanent floating crap game in New York” played by senior , and Miss Adelaide, the main attraction at the Hot Box nightclub played by sophomore . The musical contains some of the most memorable songs from Broadway including: “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat”, “I’ve Never Been in Love Before” and “Luck Be a Lady”. Tickets are now on sale for $10 for Adults and $8 for Senior Citizens and Children under 12. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on show nights.
