North Branford Patch takes a moment to catch up with sophomore Laurin Gagne, who plays Miss Adelaide in Drama Club’s upcoming production of Guys and Dolls, which opens this Friday.
Gagne has been acting since a young age and is excited to showcase her talent in this role. While she had seen the movie production of Guys and Dolls, Gagne has never seen it live.
Being familiar with the production, Gagne knew she wanted the role of Adelaide, which she says mirrors her own personality in some ways. Though she has taken voice lessons, this will be Gagne’s first time in a big role in front of a large audience.
You can see Gagne’s big debut when opens on Friday, April 1 with a 7 p.m. curtain with additional shows on Saturday, April 2.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and children under 12 and on sale at the North Branford Auditorium box office from 4 to 6 p.m. today and 6 to 8 p.m. on March 30 and 31. Tickets may be purchased at showtime. For information, call 203-484-1465 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stay tuned for more scenes from behind the curtain.
