Gagne Makes Her Debut with Guys and Dolls

Laurin Gagne puts her voice lessons to good use as Adelaide in North Branford Drama Club's production of Guys and Dolls.

North Branford Patch takes a moment to catch up with sophomore Laurin Gagne, who plays Miss Adelaide in Drama Club’s upcoming production of Guys and Dolls, which opens this Friday.

Gagne has been acting since a young age and is excited to showcase her talent in this role. While she had seen the movie production of Guys and Dolls, Gagne has never seen it live.

Being familiar with the production, Gagne knew she wanted the role of Adelaide, which she says mirrors her own personality in some ways. Though she has taken voice lessons, this will be Gagne’s first time in a big role in front of a large audience.
