Gary Wilson Takes the Stage as Nathan Detroit Tonight

Gary Wilson didn’t originally want the role of Nathan Detroit in the Drama Club’s production of , which opens tonight. But after he landed the role, he fell in love with it.

A four-year member of Drama Club, Wilson has also been casted in Footloose, Seussical and  Into the Woods with a leading role and the latter two productions.

Growing up, Wilson was involved in acting, though Footloose was his first musical. Since then, he has participated in musicals throughout the state through Quickchange Productions in North Haven and through another North Haven director as well.

For now, though, Wilson is concentrating on Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, which opens today with a 7 p.m. curtain and additional shows on Saturday, April 2.
