On Tonight: Friday Night Lights, Lake Placid and Say Yes to the Dress

Friday Night Lights, 8 p.m., NBC

You know, NBC is auctioning off FNL paraphernalia and they keep posting stuff on Facebook, like “own Smash’s varsity jacket” and “buy Riggins’ rig” and stuff like that and it is all I can do to stop myself. It’s bad enough that I own a Dillon Panthers T-shirt, and after Coach Taylor was transferred, I had to go buy the East Dillon Lions shirt and shove my Panthers shirt to the back of the drawer. Yes, my loyalty runs that deep. I am the Buddy Garrity of viewers.

Lake Placid 2, 10 p.m., SyFy

Of course it cannot be as good as the first one (and yes, I am serious when I say that) because it does not have Betty White feeding moo-cows to the giant crocodile in the lake.

Say Yes To The Dress, 9 p.m., TLC

Today is my parents’ 51st wedding anniversary. So just think about that for a minute.
