On Saturday, May 4, North Branford firefighters fought a fully involved house fire in the area of 1039 Foxon Road. The fire was reported around 5:06 am and upon their arrival, the two story vacant dwelling was completely ablaze.
Based upon a number of facts and evidence, the fire is being considered suspicious in nature and due to the rapid fire spread and involvement, most likely incendiary in its cause.
The North Branford Fire Marshal has posted signs on the property that allows any person who has knowledge or information regarding the fire to contact the CT Arson Tip Award Program hotline at 1-800-84ARSON or the town fire marshals office at 203-484-6016.
