Got FroYo? Two Shops Coming to Town

Two frozen yogurt shops are opening soon – one in North Branford and one in Northford.

Warmer weather is on its way and what goes better with a hot day than a frozen treat? While you can grab an ice cream in North Branford at Dairy Queen, soon there will be new shops offering frozen yogurt.

Yolokiss Frozen Yogurt is aiming to open by this summer in Central Plaza and there are already signs of preparation. The shop, which will be next to Village Warehouse Liquor, has posters in its windows.

According to the franchise's website, Yolokiss Frozen Yogurt Lounge is "the ultimate self-serve frozen yogurt concept" with the following mission: "To create a fun and exciting atmosphere that incorporates freedom, health, and happiness."

On the other end of town, Village Frozone Self-Serve Yogurt Cafe will open in Northford Plaza in the former TD Bank North building. Village Frozone, which will open late this spring, will offer indoor and outdoor seating.
