Meet Chris Norwood of Country Paint and Hardware

Today North Branford Patch takes a closer look at North Branford's hardware store.

when I was little. I remember talking to Earl, the owner, but moreso, I remember all of the stuff. Aisles and aisles of everything you can imagine.

Of course, there is the regular hardware store goods from nuts and bolts to plumbing fixtures to tools, but there is also other things you may not expect including a selection of outdoor toys like buckets and Wiffleball bats, crayons and pet supplies. And my son's favorite, the kid-sized wheelbarrow.

Take a look at the video as Chris Norwood, Earl's nephew who has been running around the store since he can remember, tells us what makes Country Paint and Hardware special.

This is the greatest store. As soon as you hit the door you are asked if you need help.I never went in and couldn't find what I needed. I love Country Paint and Hardware.

Earl and his staff are always ready to help find what you need to get the job done right. From paint to repairs to canning and unique seasonal decorations. A unique slice of Americana that you doubted could still exist is alive, well and prospering at Country Paint and Hardware.
