North Branford Businesses Help Scare Up Some Fun on Branford Green

Head over to the Branford Green and check out the scarecrows!

On Oct. 7, the Branford Town Green got a little scary. More than 35  assembled by area businesses and organizations took over Town Green as part of the Branford Garden Club's latest fundraiser.

Now until at least next Friday, Oct. 14, residents can delight in the artistic display, said Addie Raucci, Branford resident and co-chair of the Horticulture Committee of the Garden Club, which is accepting donations daily at the event.

I saw two North Branford-contributed scarecrows (check out the photos) as showed off a scarecrow made for last week's  event and  showcased a big red tractor with a scarecrow farmer along for the ride.
