Beginning this Friday night, Poppy's Restaurant -- a longtime breakfast and lunch staple in Central Plaza -- is expanding its hours to include dinner.
The restaurant owners are excited about giving North Branford residents another option besides the "normal pizza or seafood they have out there right now."
They not only will offer their regular menu items including sandwiches, wraps, lasagnas and hamburgers, but are adding stuffed peppers, baked chicken, spaghetti with crab sauce, homemade ravioli.
Many of the new dishes will be baked or grilled to make sure there are plenty of healthy options on the menu, as well.
