Readers' Choice: Buying Plants and Flowers

Where do you go to buy plants and flowers and to get advice from experts? More importantly: Why is your go-to shop wonderful? Share your thoughts with your neighbors in this week's Readers' Choice contest.

We’re asking you, our North Branford Patch readers, to tell us where you go to make your homes and gardens beautiful.

Vote in our poll (tell us if we're missing any businesses you like) and especially post your ratings and reviews of our local businesses right into our directory by clicking on a link below. That’s going to help future North Branford Patch users make their own decisions on what’s the best place in town, as well as help us crown our Readers' Choice winner (as per the attached rules).

Thanks, and here are our contestants:

DeFrancesco Farms had the most beautiful plants for Easter! The plants were hardy and priced right. They are very friendly and have great fruits and veggies in the summer. We are so lucky to have them in our town! Donna Hart

I love NatureWorks cause they have plants you don't see at other places and they have classes and events! If you have questions they answer them. They're friendly and I enjoy going there! Been a customer for years! A Great place!

I have had great success with everything purchased from Van Wilgen's. I love how they categorise their flowers and plants - Butterfly Attractions, Plants for wet areas, Herbs, etc. It makes it so much easier to find what I am looking for. In addtion, a trip to their greenhouse in the middle of winter makes the winter blues disappear - at least for a while!
