Update: Doody's Leads the Polls for NB's Best Burger

After two days of voting, Doody's has jumped out to a big lead in this week's Readers' Choice: where is the best burger in North Branford? Doody's took off with a big lead and now holds 78 percent of the votes.

In its purest form it's just a beef patty on a bun. But today's burgers are much more complex, with toppings that range from the classic lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup and mustard to items that include everything from bacon, mushrooms, jalepenos and avacado to a fried egg or chili. You could even get a burger made from turkey meat or bison, or a veggie one, too.

When it comes down to it, you could put just about anything on a burger. And there are some great restaurants serving some incredible burgers right here in North Branford.
