Announcing the Golden Ticket Winner at the Smith Library!

Congratulations to Taylor Kamienski who won the Golden Ticket drawing for the Kindle Fire at the Smith Library!!  Also to Sean Hart and Mason Provencher who won the book bag drawings!

The Smith Library Children’s Room had 208 participants in the “Dig Into Reading” program this summer.

Congratulations to all the children that participated and especially to the 86 children that read 30 books or for 30 days to complete the reading challenge.

It was a fantastic summer filled with field trips, cake decorating, visits from Meigs Point Nature Center, Dave Fry, Giovanni's Ice Cream Truck, Curious Creatures, The Sugar Bakery Cupcake Truck and Mr. Magic.  A huge thank you to all the staff at the Smith Library, the teachers at JHS and TVES, and to all the parents for their efforts in supporting the summer reading fun!
