Light Snow Is On the Way, Along With Much Cooler Temperatures

A round of light snow is in the forecast for North Branford--don't put those shovels away just yet!

A weak storm system will give us some late March snow. Precipitation will be light but may impact travel for your Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Weekend plans are looking dry but quite cool.

Today: A weakening low pressure system will push closer to North Branford. Look for some light rain and snow showers developing in the afternoon hours. Highs in the upper 30s. Precipitation will turn to all snow during the overnight hours with accumulating snow possible. Overnight lows in the upper 20s to near 30.

Thursday: Morning snow showers will move out leaving us with cloudy skies. Total storm accumulations of 1 to 3 inches expected. Winds will be on the gusty side out of the northwest at 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Friday: Look for partly to mostly cloudy skies and continued unseasonably cool temps. Highs will struggle to reach 40 degrees.

Saturday: Expect mostly cloudy skies with daytime highs in the low 40s.

Sunday: Similar to Saturday. Look for mostly cloudy skies and continued cool temperatures. Daytime highs in the low 40s.
