North Branford and Northford Happenings: July 30 to Aug. 5

It's the final countdown to the . , Pam Gery and many other volunteers are busy getting ready and still taking names for more volunteers.

And if you haven't now is the time! On Sunday, Aug. 5, Patch will be there to name King and Queen Corn and Prince and Princess Potato.

Kids' Fun at the Library

Now that school is out, the calendar at the  and  are packed with things for the kids to do. Here's a look at this week's activities:

Baseball Anyone?

Is your 13- or 14-year-old ? The CT Slam is now forming a youth baseball team to participate in the New England Fall Ball League with games to be played at the CT Sportsplex.
