On Tap Today: Details To Come On Northford Drug Bust; Story Hour at Atwater; Karaoke at SBC

Here's what you need to know for today, Wednesday, Feb. 23.

1. Early morning Clinton police arrested Northford resident Kuntal Patel. Patel was charged with operating a drug factory; possession of marijuana with intent to sell; and two counts of possession of marijuana. Stay tuned to Patch for details on the case.

2. Story hour at the Atwater Memorial Library (1720 Foxon Road) will start at 10 a.m. today. In cooperation with the North Branford Family Resource Center, "Time for Baby and Me" invites you and your infant to spend an hour sharing stories, nursery rhymes, songs and parenting advice.

3. The Conservation and Wetlands Agency will meet at 7 p.m. in the office of the town manager at Town Hall. The agency protects wetlands and watercourses and can issue permits for regulated activities in areas designated as wetlands.

4. Step up to the mic tonight at SBC Restaurant & Brewery's weekly karaoke night. For courage, the restaurant located at 850 W. Main St. in Branford has plenty of beers on tap. The singing starts at 9:30 p.m. and runs till close.

5. If you'd rather like to keep your mouth shut and watch other people sing, American Idol is having a Beatles night at 8 p.m. on Fox.
