The National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Alert, which is in effect from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. today. To anyone with respiratory problems, I would recommend staying indoors.

Today: Mostly sunny skies. Hazy, hot and humid. Highs in the low-90s. With dewpoints in the upper-60s, temperatures will feel more like 100 degrees.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot. Highs in the upper-90s. Dewpoints in the upper-60s to near 70. Temperatures will feel more like 100 to 105 degrees. Clouds will be on the increase during the evening hours with thunderstorms likely. Some storms may be severe. Overnight lows in the upper-60s.
Friday: Partly cloudy, warm. Highs in the mid to upper-80s. Overnight lows in the upper-50s to near 60.
Saturday: Partly cloudy and much cooler. Daytime highs will be comfortable in the mid-70s.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a chance for a shower. Any precipitation will be light. Highs in the upper-70s.
