Connecticut Magazine has lots of ideas of where you can meet someone, including the Shoreline Sailing Club, which meets the first and third Thursday of each month at the Westbrook Elks Lodge.
If you’re single and looking to meet someone Connecticut Magazine just came out with its “Savvy Singles Guide to Connecticut,” a compendium of places and ideas for meeting others.
The guide has lists and links to specific venues, such as the Shoreline Sailing Club in Westbrook. Friends & Co. restaurant in Madison makes the magazine's list for "single-friendly restaurants."
