Snow Not Expected to Stick Around

Rain and slush coming this morning; share your snow pictures while it's on the ground!

After a snowy 12 hours, Monday evening's wintry mix is expected to turn into sleet and rain by 8 a.m. this morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Winter Weather Advisory for the region remains in effect until 10 a.m. today, with warnings posted for slick roads, freezing rain, and up to an inch of accumulation.

The chance of precipitation tomorrow remains high at 80 percent, although high temperatures will melt any snow on the ground.

The rest of the week will be moderately cold, with hovering in the 30s through to Saturday. Snow may return this coming weekend. Chances of precipitation currently stand at 30 percent.
