A blocking pattern is setting up for us here in Connecticut. Strong high pressure in southern Canada will help bring in some unseasonably cool temperatures. Our next chance at any precipitation will be on your Wednesday.
Today: Mostly sunny and quite cool. Daytime high will struggle to reach 40 degrees. Winds will be on the gusty side at 10 to 15 miles per hour out of the northwest.
Sunday: Abundant sunshine and continued cool. Highs in the low-40s. Overnight lows well below normal in the low 20s.
Monday: Very similar to Sunday. Look for mostly sunny skies with highs in the low-40s. Winds will be a little gusty at 10 to 20 miles per hour.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies with slightly warmer temperatures in the mid-40s. Overnight lows near the freezing mark.
Wednesday: Clouds will be on the increase for your Wednesday with rain developing during the early afternoon hours. Highs in the mid-40s.
Stay tuned for more updates.
