Temps Well Below Normal Today

Temperatures won't warm up until the weekend.

Cold temperatures today will slowly rise throughout the next couple days. Rain is in the forecast for the weekend.

Today: High pressure overhead will help keep skies clear and temperatures well below normal. Expect daytime highs peaking in the upper 20s. Overnight lows will also be on the cold side, dipping down into the low teens.

Friday: Our next weather maker will begin to take shape in the Midwest on Friday. For North Branford, expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures moderating into the mid 30s. Look for overnight lows to be in the low 30s.

Saturday: Clouds will be on the increase for our Saturday as the Midwest system pushes eastward. A warm southwest wind will bump our temperatures into the low 50s.

Sunday: Morning clouds will be followed by afternoon rain. Rain may be heavy at times. Daytime highs will be mild, reaching the mid 50s.

Monday: Expect mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be at cool to more seasonable levels in the low 40s.

Stay tuned for more updates.
