What's Cookin'? Family Potluck!

There's not much better than having someone else cook for you, plus a roomful of brand new babies to snuggle!

In my family, we have deemed our Sundays as 'Sunday Fundays' and we try to get together with the family at different houses for dinner each week. It works out pretty well because, with a nice big rotation, you only really need to host once every six weeks.

I love a night off from cooking so, while it's supposed to be potluck as in bring a side, app or dessert, I took the easy way out and brought some wine and beer!

Sunday Funday got a bit more hectic as, within the past two months, our family has grown by three infants with five babies in the past year-and-a-half (not to brag, but check out all those cute babies in the picture!). Add a steady downpour and all the adults and you had a pretty packed house!

Regardless, it was great to see all the little cousins together and even better not to cook. There's always a smorgasbord (can you believe I spelled that right on the first try?) of food at my mom's and yesterday was no different–BBQ chicken and pork, Shake-n-Bake chicken, mashed potatoes, cornbread, rice pilaf, broccoli and cheese casserole and salad.
