Branford Compassion Club to Host “I’m Going Home” Adult Feline Adoption Party
“I’m going home” is a wish that lives in the hearts of the many adult cats residing at Branford Compassion
Club’s Feline Rescue & Adoption Center. From the large picture window of the Community Cat room, adult and senior cats peer out into the main room as visitors come in looking for kittens to adopt and take home. They see the joy on the faces of visitors as they pick out their kitten and they watch their little friends go home. They wonder if it will ever be their turn. They wait and hope that someday that special person will walk through the door and whisk them away to their happy ever after home.
Through no fault of their own, most adult cats living at Branford Compassion Club’s Feline Rescue & Adoption Center were either abandoned or relinquished by their owner due to illness, death, or financial difficulties.
They come to the center scared, broken-hearted and homesick for their previous owner. Sadly, many are passed over for the smaller, cuter kitten and will live out the rest of their lives at BCC’s center.
On Saturday, March 23rd, from 11am to 3pm, Branford Compassion Club volunteers will host “I’m Going Home” Adult Adoption Party to give the many wonderful adult & senior cats a chance at finding that special person who can offer them a loving forever home. All adult cats have been
spayed or neutered and are up to date with vaccinations. The adult adoption fee is $95. The adoption fee may be waived for senior citizens looking to adopt an older cat.
Please inquire at the desk about Branford Compassion Club’s “Seniors for Seniors” program.
Please join the party on March 23rd between 11am and 3pm for the many wonderful adults and seniors at Branford Compassion Club Feline Rescue & Adoption Center located
at 2037 Foxon Road in North Branford. Refreshments will be served. For more information, please visit www.branfordcompassionclub.org.
