There have been a lot of emails being sent about Saturday's game (many thanks to Sue Calamita and Kris Smith), but in case you haven't heard, NBC CT is sponsoring a toy drive from 8 a.m. to noon at Rentschler Field. The TouchDown Club and North Branford Cheer Club have requested that, if possible, anyone going to the game please bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the toy drive.
C'mon North Branford, we need your help! If you are not going to the game but know a cheerleader or football player and would like to donate, please feel free to give them your donation. Also, the cheer bus will be leaving at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning and I will collect any donation drop-offs between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. if you would like to provide something then.
This is a great opportunity to shop locally as well – we have fabulous, locally owned businesses with items suitable for the drive.
