NB Best Buddies Participate in Statewide Talent Show

North Branford's Tisha Denny participates in the Best Buddies Connecticut Talent Show.

This past weekend, Best Buddies CT got together at Sacred Heart University to celebrate the talents of our buddies. Miss Connecticut Teen USA 2012, Logan West, hosted the show with last year's Talent Show winner, Rashad. With about 15 acts, they delivered quite the show.

From , Tisha Denny began the with her own version of "Somebody to Love" from the movie Ella Enchanted and blew the crowd away. The competition was pretty tough with many renditions of Michael Jackson's greatest hits along with some dancing, and even a little bit of comedy! Long behold, it was time for the judging! The judges went out into the hallway to make this very difficult decision. 

They came back in moments later and announced first place....TISHA DENNY!

All of the acts were phenomenal, but myself and the others from NB were thrilled that Tisha took home the trophy.
