As Student Council members, myself and the secretary of Best Buddies, Emilyann, decided that we would raise money with the for our . As the project comes to an end, we are pulling together all of that money that we worked so hard to earn. We have collected a large profit from our fundraisers, but our last stop will be in Northford Center.
At the beginning of this Big Give project, Emilyann and I were thinking of quick and easy ways to earn a little more while focusing more on the more in depth fundraisers. Our first idea was to put a can in that fellow pizza-eaters could drop a few coins in.
We did this last year as well and, surprisingly, after having the can in there for a month or so, we earned a good $70. We were shocked to see such a wonderful turnout and so pleased with Giovanni's for how they displayed our can to their customers.

Something as easy as placing a can on the front counter of a pizza place shows the genorosity and the compassion that our fellow North Branford residents have for one another. It's amazing how something as small as a can sitting on a counter could spark people's inner spirit to anonymously make a difference.
