On Tonight: Amazing Race, Homeland and The Good Wife

Here are some Sunday night TV tips.

Sunday, Oct. 28

The Amazing Race, 8 p.m., CBS
We will not miss team FanBoy. They simply were not cut out for this experience. It is one thing to watch and adore the show from our couches, and entirely another tothink you can do it. My son and I are secure in our knowledge that we could never do it. Tonight, the humidity turns serious, and Team Magic James goes down, and Team Longhairs gets some kind of bad news from home.

Homeland, 10 p.m., Showtime
Wow. And wow. And add a third wow in there just because last week’s episode was that intense. Fantastic. Can’t wait to see where we go from here.

The Good Wife, 9 p.m., CBS
“When Lemond Bishop's accountant is arrested, Diane and Alicia must determine if the feds are going after his drug money or legal businesses; Nick causes moretrouble for Kalinda.” I love the ick-factor of the Lemond Bishop stuff for Alicia. And raise your hand if you agree: the Kalinda husband stuff is ridiculous and makes nosense and needs to be put away. Just … end it. Have him be run over by a bus.
