Whew! What a week that was. I hope this finds everyone with power back, heat on, fridge running, water nice and hot. As I write this on Friday, I have none of that – but we did not lose anything and therefore I consider myself among the lucky. Hurricane Sandy wrought so much hardship on so many of our friends and neighbors – what I love about living where I do (and I know you have this, too) is how we all come together in times of great need and help however we can. We see it on our Patches every day – strangers helping strangers, neighbors helping neighbors. Thank you to everyone who helped someone out this past week – this is what it is all about!
