“The tradition of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace; the Horse Guards and the troops who guard the queen.” Who doesn’t love the pomp and circumstance that surrounds Buckingham Palace? I certainly do. Seems fitting to watch this on the cusp of the Fourth of July.

Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition

“Michael, a 28-year-old small-business consultant who weighs 493 pounds, tries to live a healthier lifestyle; Michael's family lends support by pledging to lose 500 pounds.” I would like to think that if I were in that situation, my family would do the same.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey, 10 p.m., Bravo

“Kathy tries to find love for her sister at the gay bar; Teresa and her brother, Joe discuss their issues in therapy; Jacqueline and Caroline discuss whether Teresa and her husband are still invited to the Napa trip; Rosie visits Teresa.” See? They all really do love each other.
