On Tonight: Revolution, Bones and The Mob Doctor

Here are some Monday night TV tips.

Monday, Sept. 17

Revolution, 10 p.m., NBC

I am looking forward to this one – I hope it does not disappoint. All the power on Earth has gone out and this opens 15 years after that happened. Commercials look awesome. Fingers crossed it is Terra Nova 2.0.

Bones, 8 p.m., Fox

When last we left our dynamic duo, Bones – framed for murder by that evil techie genius - had just fled with baby in tow, helped by Dad. Booth was devastated and angry. Rightfully so on both counts, I’d say. In tonight’s season premiere, “After Brennan is accused of murder, her father (Ryan O'Neal) helps her hide from the FBI; Booth and the team think an evil tech genius (Andrew Leeds) manipulated evidence to implicate Brennan.” Gee, ya think?

The Mob Doctor, 9 p.m., Fox

“Dr. Grace Devlin struggles to meet the demands of her job at Chicago's Roosevelt Memorial Center as she also works for the mafia men to whom she is indebted.” This star Jordana Spiro, whom I adored in My Boys, the tbs sitcom from a couple of years back. I am checking it just because of her.
