This Week in North Branford

It's Monday--time to think about plans for your week.

It's a new week and there's lots going on. Here's a glimpse into some things you need to know and some happenings throughout North Branford this week.

1. It's April Break--sort of. The kids are in school today due to the massive amounts of snow this winter, but for the rest of the week, they're on vacation.

2. Town Meetings

There will be a special meeting of the Police Commission today at 3 p.m. at the meeting room. The  meets tomorrow at at 7 p.m. Tomorrow's Zoning Board of Appeals meeting was cancelled due to lack of business and next meets Monday, May 16. The April 21 Planning and Zoning meeting has been cancelled due to lack of business. P&Z next meets on Thursday, May 5 at 7 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers. 

3. High School Sports

4. Check Out the Library

For kids, there's Fishing for Books tomorrow at the at 10:30 a.m. A  on Thursday at noon in Atwater's Community Room and a meets Wednesdays at 4 p.m. at the . Both the Atwater and Smith libraries host a variety of for children throughout the week.

Come to and kids 12 and under can hunt for eggs and plant a pot. It's a free event, but pre-registration is encouraged.
