Update: Hazmat Spill Reported at Regional Water Authority in North Branford

A tanker has reportedly spilled fluid in the driveway of the Regional Water Authority facility at 765 Foxon Road in North Branford.

Updated: Aug. 9: 10:35 a.m.

Chief confirmed that a tanker spilled about 75 gallons of fluosilicic acid at the RWA facility. North Branford officials are currently waiting for an environmental contractor to lead clean-up operations.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
