Man Charged with Burglary in North Farms Incident

Police said neighbor confessed to stealing jewelry.

North Branford police charged a North Branford man Tuesday with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny after an investigation into the theft of jewelry Tuesday from a North Farms Condominiums unit.

On Tuesday, police received a burglary complaint from the condo complex and determined that someone had broken into a first-floor unit via a window and stolen four rings containing gold and diamonds from a cabinet in the master bedroom.

Officers on scene located footprints in the grass leading from the window that led to another nearby condo unit, where they say they received a full confession from Michael Ferraro, 30.
