NBFD by the Numbers: June 2013

The North Branford Fire Department's fire marshal released these statistics for the month of June 2013. Last month, the NBFD – which recently celebrated its 75th anniversary – responded to 145 calls with a running 2013 total of 912 calls. Calls over the past month included:

• 1 Fire                                       
• 97 Emergency Medical Calls
• 11 Motor Vehicle Accidents         
• 7 Hazardous Conditions               
• 19  Public Service Calls
• 10 False Alarms                       
• 10 Mutual Aid Calls                      

These numbers are totals for all of the companies of the North Branford Fire Department, which includes Company #1, Company #2, Company #3 and Company #4.
