The North Branford Fire Department responded to a total of 143 calls last month, according to the latest report from town's Fire Marshal's Office.
September's numbers are down slightly from August, when all four companies responded to a combination of 166 calls.
And so far this year, department members have answered a total of 1,401 calls for service.

- Emergency Medical Calls - 98
- Motor Vehicle Accidents - 11
- Hazardous Conditions - 3
- Public Service Calls - 23
- False Alarms - 8
- Mutual Aid Calls - 25
These numbers are totals for all of the companies of the North Branford Fire Department, which includes Company 1, Company 2, Company 3 and Company 4.
