North Branford Fire Department Knocks Down Garage Fire
A garage fire at John's Refuse was quickly put out with no injuries reported.
The North Branford Fire Department responded to a garage fire at John's Refuse on Tuesday afternoon. The fire was quickly knocked down and no injuries were reported.
The building, which houses three garage bays, is located at 1010 Middletown Avenue in Northford. The roof of the building had been vented to help extinguish the fire.

"The guys did a great job," said Chief William Seward.
Seward said that cause of the fire is still undetermined and under investigation.
