North Branford Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of a Child

On Sept. 7, North Branford detectives served an arrest and search warrant on the home of a North Branford man concluding a month-long investigation regarding sexual abuse.

Robert Dibenedetto, 55, of Twin Lakes Road, North Branford, was arrested and charged with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury/impairing morals of a child. He was processed and released after posting a $100,000 bond. His next scheduled court date is Sept. 21.
