North Branford Police Department by the Numbers: January

Here's a look at the breakdown of the NBPD's calls for the month of January as well as staff recognition.

 

Throughout the month of January, the North Branford Police Department responded to 712 incidents. The breakdown of incidents is listed below. In addition, vehicle maintenance costs totaled $868.94 for the month.

  • 46 motor vehicle accidents
  • 5 motor vehicle accidents with injuries
  • 84 motor vehicle stops
  • 24 motor vehicle written warnings
  • 42 motor vehicle citations/summons
  • 2 DUI arrests
  • 56 commercial and residential alarms, 56 false
  • 20 criminal arrests
  • 3 juvenile arrests 

Two members of the NBPD also earned certifications from the State of Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Training Council as Mario Bernardo and Sean Anderson have satisfactorily completed First Line Supervision and Critical Incident Management Training.
